DESCRIPTION:Join us for two opportunities\, “Martial arts and self-expression” & “Music of the African Diaspora.” The Martial Arts and Self Expression class focuses on Tai’Chi\, Chi’Gung\, Mindfulness\, and fundamentals in Shaolin Gung Fu.  \nFrom Africa to the Caribbean\, the Music of the African Diaspora class is where young people will trace the evolution and innovation of African dance and drumming. Classes are high energy\, inclusive of all levels\, and they give ample opportunities for creative expression through dance\, song\, and instruments.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Bite as we explore new recipes and familiar ones too\, sharpening our cooking skills and trying new flavors. Along with training and gaining experience in the kitchen\, this paid internship asks that you conduct a group research project aimed at improving the quality of life in our community. Together\, we will research what changes can be made to The Bite to create and increase healthy communication and healthy eating in Ashland.
